Anonymity 4 Proxy (A4Proxy) is a personal anonymous proxy server and anonymizing software. Once you install on your own computer, it will allow you to surf the Web with privacy. This local proxy server includes a database with hundreds of anonymous public proxy servers located all over the world. The program is essential for those who value their privacy and who want to surf the web anonymously.

With A4Proxy, you can scan each server, check its response time, confirm its anonymity, and test its speed in connection with the website or ftp-server that interests you (HTTP, HTTPS (Secure HTTP) and FTP are supported). You can choose the best candidate as your default proxy, or select the option to use a different proxy for each request. Advanced features allow you to actively hide yourself while surfing: A4Proxy can generate a fake IP address for each request, selectively modify HTTP variables, block cookies, and more. The program also helps to avoid network congestions and can be used by webmasters and network administrators to test their servers.

You can also use A4Proxy to share your Internet connection with others over a LAN - in this case, all network computers will connect to the Internet via A4Proxy, and each member of your family (or each colleague) will have an anonymous Internet connection of their own.



Anonymity 4 Proxy is a special local proxy server (which you install on your own computer), operating a large database of anonymous public proxy servers located all over the world. This program stands between your browser and the Internet, redirecting all requests for web pages to the proxy servers and making you anonymous to the websites you are visiting.

It can also be used for other purposes. Webmasters can check how their websites look from other countries and how fast they load; system administrators can see if their servers are available from the outside of the corporate network. Anybody can avoid network congestions by using a proxy - you can quickly choose the fastest route to any site with the Check URL feature. Added in the latest version:
* Long-awaited export feature allows you to use the proxies in other programs and share them with your friends. You can export all proxies, only good ones, or just the ones you select.
* Enhanced proxy import engine. Now you can import proxies automatically from local files, local folders (i.e., by telling the program to import all files located in a particular folder), or directly from the web (just give the program the URL of the page with a proxy list). In the latter case, A4Proxy downloads the page anonymously, using the same proxy settings you selected for surfing. See details here.
